Responsibilities
Golden State Water Company, a public water utility in California, is seeking an Information Technology Intern at our corporate headquarters in San Dimas, California. The selected intern will work approximately 20 hours per week completing the following projects:
• Enter employee e-mail addresses and maintaining the company’s Active Directory
• Rationalize “service accounts” and validate need and document necessity
• Inventory and catalog old backup tapes for the corporate office and other offices
• Other projects, as requested
Preferred Abilities
• The ideal candidate will have an I.T. background or is a major in I.T.
• Knowledge of Active Directory is preferred
• An understanding of network topology and proficiency in Visio a plus
• Must be proficient in MS Office 2007
Mandatory Qualification
• An undergraduate sophomore (and above) who is currently enrolled in a fulltime capacity (at least 12 units or 18 quarter units) from an accredited educational institution and maintaining at least a 2.5 GPA
• A graduate student currently enrolled in an accredited educational institution and maintaining at least a 3.0 GPA
